How do you use a Woodwick candle?

Light the Woodwick candle and let it burn for at least 1 hour. The best scent diffusion is achieved by letting the candle burn for 3 to 4 hours.

How long should a Woodwick candle burn?

A Woodwick candle should burn for at least 60 minutes. For an optimal fragrance experience, we recommend that you leave the candle burning for between 3 and 4 hours.

What to do with empty Woodwick candles?

An empty Woodwick candle can still be used perfectly as a storage jar! When the candle is finished, you can empty it and clean it with our tips. 1. Remove the layer of candle wax from the jar with a fork or knife. 2. You can remove the remainder from the jar by melting the candle wax by placing the jar in warm water. 3. Then clean the glass Woodwick jar with kitchen paper and a little cleaning agent.

How many hours does a Woodwick candle burn?

A Woodwick candle has between 20 and 130 burning hours depending on the size. The burning hours are as follows: Large 130 hours / Ellipse 50 hours / Medium 60 hours / Small 20 hours. These burning hours are achieved if the Woodwick instructions are followed, but there are always external factors that can influence the burning hours.

General instructions for use of Woodwick candles:

- Make sure you let the candle burn for at least 1 hour, but for the best scent distribution, 3 to 4 hours is recommended.

- Place the burning candle on the lid to prevent damaging your surface.

- Very important with WoodWick candles is that you do not leave the wick too long. It is advisable to trim it to 0.5 mm above the candle for optimal burning (this does not apply to the HearthWick Ellipse model).

- How do you trim the WoodWick? First, let the candle solidify completely, then use your finger to carefully break off pieces of the wooden wick to the desired length.

- How do you prevent your candle from tunneling? Tunneling happens when the candle is not burned properly, causing the wick to burn downwards, creating a kind of edge around the candle. To prevent this, it is important to let the candle burn for at least 1 hour, allowing the candle to become liquid and whole again.

- Do not replace the lid on the candle until it has completely cooled and solidified.
